Who we are
Purple Pepper Commerce was born out of a desire to live on our own terms and a belief that growth should be limited only by our creativity. We build, manage, and invest in eCommerce marketplace brands. The projects in which we engage are fun, exciting and challenge us to grow.
Today, Purple Pepper is actively developing a playbook for how to turn marketplace channels, primarily Amazon to start, into a global growth engine for brands of all shapes and sizes.

What to expect
As a Brand Growth Strategist, you will own & manage the channel P&Ls for a portfolio of brands. You will be the first key hire of the strategic brand team here at Purple Pepper Commerce, playing a pivotal role in building our agency.
You will be responsible for owning a brand’s complete Amazon performance. You will drive P&L growth and create a lasting, high value relationship with the client. Internally, your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives and support team growth and happiness.
You will be tasked with identifying, planning and executing growth opportunities to drive P&L growth. You will not be limited to basic tactics or Amazon alone, but will dive deep and understand the entire branded business to identify bottlenecks and points of leverage to further your objectives. You will be creative in achieving these outcomes, excited by the opportunity to win. Additionally, for each brand you will be tasked with maintaining & improving account/catalog health and performance, developing & executing marketing, promo and advertising campaigns, managing & optimizing your assigned brand’s content and Amazon presence, creating & managing tasks, and developing strong relationships with your brands.
You will start without direct reports, operating as a team of one in collaboration with the other departments. As your role expands, expect to build, hire & manage 1-2 persons to support your efforts.
Growth will be uncapped, driven by your ambition and ability.

What you’ll do
P&L Ownership
• Develop, set and achieve P&L targets for your brands
• Develop and implement plans to achieve P&L targets
• Set & manage expectations with all parties involved
• Set the vision for the brand on Amazon
• Consistently push against boundaries
Account Management
• Set & maintain high standards for account health, performance & settings
• Set & maintain high standards for catalog health & item data quality
• Set-up new items to the catalog with completeness & accuracy
• Report progress against P&L targets & account activity
• Proactively review & implement new programs, tools & opportunities
• Collaborate with logistics team to maintain inventory performance
• Collaborate with account team to support efforts
Marketing
• Develop, plan & execute brand marketing campaigns (posts, creator connections, seasonal content campaigns) on Amazon
• Develop, plan & manage advertising campaigns
• Develop, plan & execute SEO & CRO initiatives (indexing, ranking, A/B tests, listing & store content)
• Develop, plan & execute merchandising and promo plans (holidays, tentpole events, weekly/monthly promos, seasonal)
• Create & maintain any related files, calendars & reports
• Collaborate with marketing team to support efforts
Project Management
• Identify, plan & prioritize tasks in line with achieving P&L targets
• Create, assign & set deadlines for tasks
• Manage task progress, completion & quality
• Support & collaborate with the broader team to complete tasks
• Ensure consistent weekly progress is achieved for each account
Relationships
• Be the direct point of contact and the face of Purple Pepper with your clients
• Set & maintain extremely high client communication quality - high speed, high value, proactive
• Proactively collaborate with broader team to curate ideas
• Coordinate with broader team to achieve objectives - design, logistics, marketing
• Constantly look & act on ways to improve the lives of your team - albeit small or large
What you’ll bring

• 3+ years Amazon, or relevant experience
• Must be fluent in English and comfortable presenting to clients
• Amazon Ads experience preferred

Compensation
• This is a remote position
• Part-time or Full-time
• Full time Salary $80k-$120k, depending on experience
• Actual compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis
